I am a Romanian born Seeker of Truth, third generation pupil in the line of Gurdjieff, and I have authored quite a few books on the Gurdjieff teaching.
Gurdjieff himself befriended the famous Romanian artist Constantin Brancusi in Paris, “who visited Fontainebleau at least once” (Paul Beekman Taylor), and with whom Gurdjieff competed in regards to who was the better cook – and even though there were rumors that Gurdjieff has won, only a few people witnessed the feat, judged by the famous American poet Ezra Pound.
As a Romanian, close to the Black Sea and Turkey, I always felt a deep connection with Gurdjieff’s ideas and practices. Having found out about Gurdjieff from one of Osho’s books, I was avid in exploring any information, book, article and exercise related to his teachings.
For the past 25 years
I have studied how movement can influence, heal and develop our daily live, teaching Martial Arts, Tea Ceremony, Yoga, Tai Chi, Fitness,
Argentine Tango and others, but most of these are just scratching the surface.
The Gurdjieff legacy is the epitome of all these, and I was so lucky to be able to study the exercises and movements in different places around the world, under special teachers from the Gurdjieff Institute in Paris, for more than a decade.
Using
my experience from other movement-related disciplines, I was able not only to
absorb them at a faster pace, but also able to benefit from them in all aspects
of my life and teach them to friends and relatives.
There is no aspect of my life that has not been enriched by these practices, as there is no activity that does not rely on the relationship between the body, the mind and the emotions. The quality of this internal relationship will always be the reference point on which everything else is build: our relationship with ourselves, with our family and friends, with our job and with the life in general.
And I have decided that everyone should be able to benefit from them, not only long term members of the Gurdjieff groups.
No more secrecy. No more hiding the best practices just for the "chosen ones".
I truly want to help everyone to enrich their life and be more alive.

This is the best way to start. Gurdjieff has mentioned on more than one occasion the idea of the three lines of work: work by oneself, with others, for the greater good. So, naturally, practicing by oneself, at home, is a mandatory step in all Gurdjieff's exercises and movements. There will be different types of results when doing some exercises in the social life, and different result when doing movements within a class with a teacher; but you will still have to practice by yourself also, and you wil get good results while doing so.
Anyone who wants to get more out of life. "Everybody is in need of a particular exercise." Gurdjieff used to say. We all need to develop relaxation, presence, awareness, internal balance, better relationships, etc. We all fight with tensions, turning thoughts, negative emotions, lack of will, etc. Becoming more can seem impossible, but doesn't have to be.
Some results will be available from the very first session: a greater awareness, "seeing" the exact state-of-affairs in your internal world (which sometimes is pleasant sometimes is not), becoming conscious of your body (especially its tensions), mind (wandering thoughts) and emotions (a whole range) and their relationship, etc. Other results, more permanent, like a deep-body relaxation, balancing your body-mind-emotions, will take a little bit of time.
That depends on you, and to how many programs you have access to. We will also add more exercises and separate programs to the platform. We suggest you do at least 20 to 60 minutes per day.
At first, definetely not. Later, some exercises can be practiced on music - general relaxation music - while other exercises have their own special music, also transmitted by Gurdjieff himself. Some of the music can be easily found on YouTube or in other places, free of charge, and it will be indicated exactly where; and in some cases, the music will be provided here on the platform.
